IPAS 2020 will now be held online due to Covid-19

Due to the increased risks of the Covid-19 virus, taking into account the concerns expressed by delegates and the ever changing travel advice, in March we had decided to postpone the IPAS 2020 until December 2020 with the expectation that we would still be able to have a face-to-face seminar. But as many countries now seem to be experiencing a second wave of the virus we have taken the difficult, but necessary, decision to hold the seminar online.

The IPAS seminar is a forum where researchers meet to interact and discuss their latest research. Considering the current health advice, it will not be possible to maintain a normal seminar atmosphere whilst guaranteeing the health and safety of the delegates. Therefore, following the official advice and taking account the concerns expressed by some of the delegates we have come to the conclusion that the most sensible option was hold a virtual event.

Please be advised that IPAS 2020 will take place online on 14th – 15th December 2020 maintaining a similar format and programme.

We will provide further detailed updates over the next couple of weeks or so regarding the format of the event, paid registration fees, seminar proceedings and the publication of the Springer book.
